Roman Catapult Model Kit – MANTUA (MA812)

The Roman Catapult Model Kit is manufactured by Mantua Models. Mantua has built its reputation on elaborately detailed model kits. Their model kits use photo-etched brass, cast metal fittings, cast metal and machined turned brass fittings. The detail in their range of wooden model kits is exceptional.

It is most elementary launching arm based on the bow principle, it was used for towns and citadels capture and defence. This Catapult launched stones or stone balls and sand leather bags to blind soldiers and riders.
